A write up of 250 words explaining your specific academic interest in the lab is expected from EVERYONE seeking to explore the possibility of working in this lab at ANY position.

We receive many applications and we will NOT respond unless you have included a write up about your specific research interest (which will reflect your seriousness about our lab). The write up will improve your chances, but doesn’t guarantee your selection for any position.

Working in this lab at any position is subject to your clearing appropriate CDFD selection procedures (for details contact EMPC Section of CDFD reachable academia<at>cdfd.org.in).

To join us as a

Ph.D. student -You should have cleared CSIR-NET, after which you will have to clear CDFD Ph.D. selection procedure, which is advertised every six months.

Postdoctoral Fellow -You are encouraged to get in touch with your CV and write-up on your specific research interest in the lab. If we have position we will let you know and you will have to appear before an interview panel. If we do not have any postdoctoral position you will be encouraged to apply for postdoctoral fellowship from DBT/DST/CSIR/ICMR, if you get funded there will be a formal interview at CDFD.

Project Assistant -You should be a B.Sc. or M.Sc. and will be expected to come through CDFD project assistant interviews.

Six months trainee -You HAVE to come through CDFD procedure. Write to EMPC section of CDFD at academia@cdfd.org.in for the details of this procedure. DO NOT write to us asking these details of the procedure, WE WILL NOT RESPOND.
