How to join Dr. Akash Ranjan's Group?

Each year we receive hundreads of applications for joining our group as Project Associate/ Trainee prositions which is impossible to meet. We prefer people who can join our group with their own fellowship and research grant awards. This may require one year of advance planning.

At Project Associate positions interested candidate may apply as

1. DBT post doctoral fellow (twice a year)
2. DST Young Scientist (once a year) 

All these require prior contact with Dr. Akash Ranjan.
 
At Project and Summer Trainee level students are required to apply for

1. INSA &
2. JNCSAR 

summer training program.

In addition some minimum essential qualifications must be met:

• Command over one or more programing languages (JAVA, C/C++ or Perl)
• Working knowledge of one database system (mysql, msql)
• Command over a domain specific knowledge (Chemistry; Cell and Molecular Biology; Engineering)
