Project 1: Humanization of Mouse antibodies

Humanization basically deals with clever change of mouse antibody sequence at some key positions mostly in the frame work regions such that the human system does not put up defence against the mouse antibodies. We have developed a computational approach for humanization of mouse antibodies using which humanization of some mouse antibodies was carried out.

Project 2: Indian-Malaysian Bioinformatics Cooperation for Development of a webprtal hosting information on DBT, India and Malaysian Government, Malaysia A bilateral meeting between India and Malaysia was held during 2-3 September 2003, by the Ministry of Science, Technology and the Environment (MoSTE), Government of Malaysia, at the interim laboratory, the National Institute for Genomics and Molecular Biology (NIGM), Kuala Lumpur, to discuss issues pertaining to human resource development and also to share bioinformatics resources that are of common interest, between biological communities of the two countries. In order to share the bioinformatics resources it was agreed during the meeting that a common web-site be created to host databases and software of common interest. Our group was requested to create and maintain the web-site. We have developed the web-portal and currently it is under testing.
